Le Fuschia Concedes

This is what pink hair has become. It was once a daring and vibrant conquest. It has been reduced to strange old ladies who likely reek of feline piss doing it to raise breast cancer awareness.
First off, I love these tits. Don't get me wrong. Hell, they're my back-up plan. But seriously? Wearing pink does jack-shit for breast cancer. BECAUSE PEOPLE WEAR PINK REGARDLESS OF CANCER.

That aside, this is my official goodbye to pink hair. The dye is sitting lonely on my vanity, waiting for me to use it, and seeing some random attractive girl on Animal Planet with an under-layer of pink made me swear off it. For a few months, at least. It's getting played out, and that shit stains.

If anyone ever needs a free dye-job with a thing of Manic Panic Red Passion I need to get rid of....holla-back-girl.

Amen to this whole post! :/
It's also like how people do things like change their profile pic to a cartoon character on FB to "raise awareness of child abuse..."
Well, I'm pretty sure most people are damn AWARE the child abuse exists, but what's changing your profile pic going to do for some poor kid with abusive parents? So many people just use these so they can feel their ~helping out~, which would be nice if they actually did jack shit for the causes they supposedly feel so strongly for.
That being said, it's rather sad because so many of these things on FB could direct people to a specific charity to donate to for the respective cause, and given the number of people on FB that could actually bring a fair number of donations in, but rather than do that it's always for some ambiguous cause and knowing people on FB if they did have money to donate most of them would be too lazy to Google up a worthy charity.
